No hands-free voice dial button?

No hands-free voice dial button on your Bluetooth headset or car audio system? This app provides 4 alternatives:

* Home Screen Widget. Press the button to simulate a hands-free button, which starts the Bluetooth Voice Dialer. Four sizes: 1x1, 2x1, 3x1, and 4x1.

* Optionally simulate a hands-free button press when you use a Bluetooth AVCRP media button (play / pause, next, or last)

* A shortcut (and car home shortcut) that simulates a hands-free button, and starts the Bluetooth Voice Dialer

Troubleshooting:

Some phones don't support Bluetooth voice dialing at all. Every phone and bluetooth device is different. Not all combinations will work. You'll have to try it for yourself to see if it will work.

Some car stereos do not send the forward/backward media button events until after the play button is pressed once.

LG G2x modifies the Car Home app such that you cannot add custom shortcuts.

What's New in the Latest Version 2.2

Last updated on Aug 29, 2015 More optimistic in detection of headset connected state. Due to android limitation this feature may not behave 100% perfectly. There is not an API to query if a headset is connected; instead the app must listen to headset connection events. In some cases event may not line up with actual connected state, but this occurs usually only at first when setting up a Bluetooth device.
